One of the joys of living in my neighborhood in Minneapolis is being within easy walking and biking distance to the beautiful Minnehaha Falls. I knew this year when we had abundant rains early in the season, I really wanted to paint it. This was the view on an early morning in July with the light hitting the top of the falls and deep shadows near the bottom.
